Studio of Visual Ethnography
About
The Studio of Visual Ethnography, which is part of the Department of Anthropology at the Faculty of Anthropology, focuses on the production of ethnographic films, research on visual culture and the introduction of audiovisual technologies (film, photography and multimedia) into teaching and research in the social sciences.
Ethnographic films and videos inspired by social and cultural anthropology are produced both in the context of various grant projects and in the context of teaching courses in visual anthropology, where students create their own films, and in the context of the ethnographic film summer school, the first year of which will take place in 2013.
